Straighten your teeth discreetly without traditional braces
Invisalign® is a modern orthodontic treatment that straightens your teeth using a series of clear, removable aligners. At Plainsboro Family Dentistry, Dr. Samir Patel provides patients with beautifully straight smiles using Invisalign's state-of-the-art system—no metal brackets or wires required.

Clear aligners are nearly invisible, so most people won't even notice you're wearing them
Take them out to eat, brush, and floss—no food restrictions or special cleaning required
Smooth plastic aligners won't irritate your cheeks and gums like metal braces

Everything you need to know about Invisalign®
Invisalign uses the same basic principles as traditional braces. Your custom aligners constantly exert gentle pressure on your teeth that gradually shifts them into the desired position. You'll wear each set of aligners for about 1-2 weeks before moving to the next set in your series. Most treatments take 12-18 months to complete.
For best results, you should wear your Invisalign aligners for 20-22 hours per day. You can remove them for eating, drinking (except water), brushing, and flossing. The more consistently you wear them, the faster and more effective your treatment will be.
Invisalign can treat a wide range of orthodontic issues for both teens and adults. The best way to determine if Invisalign is right for you is to schedule a consultation with Dr. Patel at Plainsboro Family Dentistry. We'll evaluate your teeth and discuss your treatment options.
The cost of Invisalign varies depending on the complexity of your case and the length of treatment. Many dental insurance plans cover Invisalign just like traditional braces. We also offer flexible payment plans to make your treatment affordable. Contact us for a personalized quote.
