Time is critical! Pick up the tooth by the crown (not the root), rinse it gently with water, and try to place it back in the socket. If that's not possible, keep it in milk or saliva and get to our office within 30 minutes for the best chance of saving the tooth.
Yes! We understand that dental emergencies can't wait. We reserve time in our schedule for emergency patients and will do our best to see you the same day you call.
Rinse your mouth with warm salt water and take over-the-counter pain medication as directed. Apply a cold compress to the outside of your cheek to reduce swelling. Avoid placing aspirin directly on the gum as it can cause burns.
